-After the defeat of the Persians, the Greek started two camps; the Athenian Empire and Sparta, along with their supporters. Both side believed they had their own winning strategies, but the Athenians had had a better Navy. In the first winter of the war, the Athenians held a public funeral for the soldiers who didn't make it for their family. During the second year of the war, a plague broke out and killed more than a third of the Athenian people. In 405 BC the Athenians suffered a tragic loss. In the next 56 years, Sparta, Athens, and Thebes struggled with Greek affairs.
